Culture Reframed offers free courses for Parents of Tweens (ages 9 to 12) and Parents of Teens (ages 13 to 18). Each self-paced course takes parents and caregivers through relevant topics and provides talking points for conversations to help young people navigate hypersexualized culture.

Free Parents of Tweens Course

Designed for parents and caregivers of kids 9 to 12 years old, this free, self-paced course is divided into five sections. As you move through the modules, you’ll develop the confidence to help your tween navigate the rough terrain of hypersexualized culture.

  • Scripted conversations: Discover how to lead safe, gentle discussions to engage your tween in talking about hypersexualized media and pornography.

Free Parents of Teens Course

The free, self-paced course guides parents of teens ages 13 to 18 through topics that provide skills to build teens’ resilience and resistance to hypersexualized culture and the harms of pornography.

I like the way it brings together the different issues around pornography. Rather than just saying, ‘porn is bad,’ it explains how it affects kids in terms of judging their own/others’ bodies, seeing themselves/others as objects, and not developing their sexuality in a healthy way.
