Free and easily accessible explicit sexual content presents an array of dangers, especially to young people. If you’ve read the news lately, you’ve likely seen stories about this — from the sexual exploitation of kids on social media to the rapidly increasing popularity of deepfakes to strangulation, currently one of the most common rough sex practices among young people.
You have the opportunity to learn about emergent research directly from experts on these and more developing societal issues at our virtual conference on December 5.
Plus, you will get to hear from one of our allies in protecting youth in the digital age, co-founder of Wired Human, Jason Frost. Learn more about Jason’s critical work in the interview below, and secure your spot at “Breaking Down Silos” to join our global community working to combat the harms of pornified media on youth.
The digital landscape is evolving rapidly, with increasingly dangerous effects on our society. We can choose to build coalitions, share solutions, and defend youth from the harms of pornified media.
Remember, we are not alone in this fight.

Empowering Youth to Speak Up: Wired Human’s Fight Against Online Exploitation
“The exposure of children to online pornography represents a significant injustice, as it negatively impacts their physical, psychological, emotional, and social development while fostering patterns that lead to addiction,” says Jason Frost, co-founder of Wired Human. The nonprofit aims to help children and families navigate the digital world and to support youth as advocates for online safety. Frost will share how Wired Human is working with youth and adults to address those concerns through education and advocacy during the opening keynote session at Culture Reframed’s December 5 virtual conference, Breaking Down Silos: Addressing the Harms of Pornified Media on Youth.
